One of unique Puerto Princesa sightseeing treats is Vietnamese Village that is located in Sta. Lourdes. This used to be a Vietnamese asylum. This is where refuge seekers from Vietnam came in the late ‘70s. Many of these refugees have been repatriated. Still, you will enjoy the Vietnamese atmosphere of this village. You should also try the varieties of noodle soups that are sold in Viet Ville restaurant. The restaurant also offers various Vietnamese cuisines that you will enjoy.

Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park

Your Puerto Princesa sightseeing will not be complete if you don’t visit Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park. The highlight of this park is its 8.2 kilometers underground river. What is remarkable about this river is that it passes through a cave before it empties itself into South China Sea. Before you can enter the cave, you will have to pass through a clear lagoon with ancient trees growing at its edges. You will see various animal species on the beach. Aside from the boat ride, you can also enjoy bird watching in this park. You can also do some mountain trekking as well.
